Welcome!

Let me introduce myself – my name is Pastor Frank Taylor, and I am the Pastor of Deerfield Bible Church in Morley, MI.

I was born and raised in Chardon, Ohio, and graduated from Chardon High School in 1977. In 1978, I married my high school sweetheart, Joan Gill, and together we moved to Michigan in 1979. We started our family in 1981 and soon after bought a hobby farm where we still reside today.

We have three married children and all together we have 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Joan and I celebrated 45 years of marriage this past summer (2023). We are blessed!

I spent a good share of my life working as a millwright and felt the calling into ministry while working at Lear Corporation. I completed Chaplaincy certification through International Fellowship of Chaplains, and was the Chaplain for UAW local 1231 in Grand Rapids, MI.

In 2007, I graduated from Cornerstone
University with a bachelor’s in business administration and ministry leadership.

In 2008, I stepped into the Pastor role at Deerfield Bible Church. Now, 15 years later, it is still our privilege to serve the community and people of Morley and the surrounding area.
I would like to invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for fellowship and worship as we study God’s Word.
